“This day was amazing and it was worth the early morning but don’t think you can sleep on that bus because one the roads are just not good but also the seats are quite upright. There is an option to do the second hike which is absolutely incredible but we’ve been at 3,500 thousand feet for the past two weeks and this was about 5000 and I had the absolute worst sickness afterwards so just be prepared. Joel and driver eduardo were amazing and really hospitable. “Ruben the guide was amazing. As was our driver and the experience once we got to Macchupicchu. The only downside was they are closed on Sundays - so if you have a tour on Monday - there is no orientation and instead of them reaching out to me - I had to find that out for myself. I stood outside their closed office on Sunday and had to WhatsApp them at 5:00 pm so that they could send me all the information and itinerary.”

“Booked a private excursion. On the way home the train ride was miserable it stopped to many times. The attendants performed a fashion show the products they were trying g to sell on the train. The visa-dome train was ok. It was not worth the extra money. Our guide was timely. We did the circuit 2 which was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable. He spent extra time with us. We did have to wait over an hours to get back on the bus to go down the mountain. There could be areas to sit along. FYI bring money for the bathrooms.”
