The only downside was you walk by a lot of shops and have no time to stop. Since the traffic in Lima is terrible (the ride from Miraflores to central Lima could take an hour or more), this is extra disappointing. I would recommend they build some time for that into the itinerary. Tour guide was excellent.”

To begin I was unsure why we departed so early in the day but to my surprise once we arrived everything started to unravel and my experience started. Rubi began explaining the history of the park and we stopped at different fountains. She was a wealth of knowledge. I learned so much about Peru’s history, more than I had imaged. We slowly walked around the park as Rubi explained the different fountains, their names and the the statues. We indulged in picarones, which was an added plus, as they are one of my favorites.
